It’s that time of year; the nights are drawing in, and we want to feel warm and cosy at home, but it’s also a treat to glam up a little and go out with friends or family. These three very different eye looks can take you from day to night in a few simple steps.

A Classic Daytime Look With a Little Intensity for the Evening

We’ve practised this, and it really can take you five minutes flat!

What you’ll need:

  • The Naturally Matte Eye Shadow Kit
  • Dazzle & Shine Glow Kit
  • Basic Black Eye Pencil
  • Onyx Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner

This look was created by Chelsea Simmons for Jane Iredale, and it can be completed in 8 easy steps:

  1. Go from lash to crease with Brown Silk Eye Shere and blend it outwards with a brush.
  2. Add the third colour, Dark Suede, from the Naturally Matte Eye Shadow Kit to the eye from the top of the crease to the outer corner of the eye.
  3. Use the Onyx Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner above the top lashes.
  4. Smudge Charcoal eye shadow from the kit over the powdered eyeliner on the upper lashes – deepen it to the outside corners.
  5. Use basic black eyeliner below your lower lashes and then smudge it with the Charcoal eye shadow.
  6. Apply Oyster highlighter from the kit below the eye and on the brow bone.
  7. To intensify the look, add more of the Brown Silk Eye Shere to the centre of the eyelid and blend.
  8. Finish the look with mascara. We’d suggest Jane Iredale Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara

Here’s a video showing you how to achieve that look:

Dazzle & Shine with Beautiful Bronzes

This is a fantastic palette that takes you right back to the fun of Biba and the opulence of Versace.

What you’ll need:

  • Limited Edition Dazzle & Shine Eye Shadow Kit
  • Dark Topaz Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner
  • Basic Brown Eye Pencil

This look was created by us!

  1. Blend the matte terra cotta above the crease of your eyelids, making sure there is plenty of colour, then add the colour around to the outside of the corner of the eye.
  2. Use the matte chocolate brown to start filing in from the out eye and inner crease, making sure that plenty of colour is applied across the entirety of the rest of the eyelid.
  3. Add a line of Dark Topaz Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner above your eyelashes.
  4. Take the shimmery pink copper and completely cover the area above your eyelashes, blending slightly into the crease.
  5. Use the Basic Brown Eye Pencil to line your lower lashes.
  6. Run the terra cotta and chocolate brown matte eye shadows below the eye blending well for the smokey effect.
  7. Finish the look with mascara. We’d suggest Jane Iredale’s Beyond Lash Lengthening Mascara.
