What is High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)?

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound is a non-surgical facelift and is entirely safe to have. High Intensity Focused Ultrasound is also known as ‘HIFU’, ‘non-surgical face lift’, ‘lunchtime face lift’ or ‘Focus Dual’ and has become one of the most sought-after lifting, firming, and tightening treatments for the face and neck.

HIFU uses Focused Ultrasound to target the deep structural layers of the skin with heat. It does this without damaging the skin’s surface. Focus Dual HIFU is one of the few treatments that can reach the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS)—which was previously accessible only via surgery during facelifts. The result from a HIFU facial is a natural lift with virtually no downtime. The heat generated in the skin stimulates the cells to produce strong, new collagen and kick-start dormant collagen. As collagen production increases up to 12 weeks post-treatment, this results in a more youthful and refreshed look. You see your skin change before your eye over the 12 weeks post-treatment.

What is Radio Frequency Microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling is a revolutionary treatment using superfine non-insulated microneedles that protect the skin’s surface from damage. This is different from traditional microneedling. We use radiofrequency to tighten the skin from inside out, whilst the microneedling creates micro-traumas that trigger the body’s healing response of collagen and elastin production.

Both technologies used in this treatment stimulate collagen in different ways. Our treatments are targeted at variable depths below the skin surface, and healthy skin is left undamaged, causing minimal pain, reduced discomfort and less downtime when compared to invasive procedures.

Our new Focus Dual machine gives you two treatments in one, meaning that you will achieve a more potent treatment and more effective results than having microneedling and radiofrequency therapies individually. The result is firmer, tighter, smoother, more lifted and hydrated skin.
